Sadly we must say goodbye to an outstanding man and police officer whose life was ended tragically July 30, 2014.
Officer Scott Thomas Patrick, 47, was shot to death in West St. Paul, Minnesota. Patrick, who was alone in his squad car, was making “a routine traffic stop” when he was killed. Patrick was the most senior member of the Mendota Heights force. He’d worked for the city since 1995, mostly as a patrol officer on the day shift. Officer Patrick was widely liked and respected by both his peers and the people he served, and his loss is a loss for us all. He is survived by his wife and two teenage daughters. Thank you Scott for your life and service. Rest in peace.
